Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in that growth, responsible for managing day-to-day operations at a newly opened site in Eastern Creek.
Job Description The Operations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Manage the operational activities, processes and systems within compliance with customer contractual obligations and nominated service standardsCoach and develop your team to ensure the highest levels of safety, compliance, accuracy, productivity, performance and continuous improvementReview regular performance reports, focusing on actions to improve cost/vehicle, utilisation and empty runningCoordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance and control, including the ongoing reporting and proactive management of vehicle and equipment maintenanceEnsure timely completion of transit damage non-conformance reporting and drive improvement and remedy to root causeLiaise with customers, either directly or through direct reports, ensuring customer service expectations are being met through continuous feedback mechanisms The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Operations Manager role will ideally have the following key skills and qualities:
Proven experience successfully leader operations within a 3PL environmentStrong technical ability and intermediate to advanced Excel skillsApplied understanding of Chain of Responsibility, planning and allocation / manifestingExperience and/or capability to coach, develop and engage an operational teamSound troubleshooting / problem solving capability, commercial acumen and numeracy skillsBasic-intermediate experience in MS Office applications, and capable of learning new systems, software and technologies What's on Offer Salary c$155,000SuperannuationBonus
