Due to this growth, our client has created a new Operations Manager position that will report to the Head of Operations. The purpose of this role is to provide on-the-ground support to middle management whilst contributing towards business improvement strategies.
The role of Operations Manager is based in Melbourne and will be responsible for 5 locations. However, you will be required to occasionally travel interstate when the expansion plan is in full effect.
To be successful in this role, you will excel in reacting to change, have strong Area Management skills in managing people & restaurant performance, and have the ability to assist with commercial decisions that will affect short and long-term profit targets.
Our client needs a leader who is able to drive culture using a core set of values that this ownership has successfully operated on for a number of years.
The candidate: You should be an Area Manager, Operations Manager, or Regional Manager, experienced in new site openings, portfolio/group financial analysis, and you must have strong multi-site management skills.A minimum of 2 years hospitality experience as an Area Manager or similar level working for a cafe group, QSR brand, or restaurant chain is essential.You see the big picture & drive structured strategy.The preferred candidate will be a leader who is truly hands-on and prefers to work on-site with their middle management teams - If you're looking for an office-based role then this won't be for you!A people-first leader with a natural ability to motivate all levels.
