Based in the heart of Geraldton, it has become the go-to destination for exceptional mechanical and hydraulic services.Located in Geraldton, we service the maritime industries from Cervantes to Kalbarri and beyond together with mining, construction and earth moving.A position is available for a suitably qualified and experienced Operations Manager with proven experience as a Hydraulic Technician or Mechanical Fitter - who is motivated and reliable to lead a small team of technicians and manage the day-to-day duties of the business.All work is undertaken in our workshop and on-site in Geraldton, WA.MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Ability to manage hydraulic / mechanical fitters and staffOversee and assist with the manufacture, installation and commissioning of hydraulic mobile equipment and systemsSales, including gensets, engines and winches - quoting and ordering partsWork to high standards and in a safe mannerSKILLS & EXPERIENCETo be considered for the role, you must have:Minimum +5 years post trade experienceExtensive site and workshop based hydraulic service experienceDemonstrated organisation and managerial / leadership skillsHigh level of work standardsExperience in Xero (or similar suite) is desirableGood communication and customer service skills and ability to build a good working relationship with customersUnderstanding of OHS & Safe Work practicesStrong coordination and time management skillsHave an adaptable and driven attitudeOnly Australian Citizens / Permanent Residents are eligible to apply.
