An opportunity exists for a skilled and adaptable professional to fill the fulltime role of Operations Manager at our foodservice branch located in Cairns.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this senior role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing and distribution operations within the branch, including monitoring expenses related to transport, equipment and the warehouse.
This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties:

Control transport, equipment and warehouse expenses including rosters and wages
Promote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered to
Maintain all vehicle and equipment service and maintenance schedules
Coach, mentor and execute performance management as required
Conduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systems
Generate, analyse and maintain reports

Skills and Experience:

A current forklift licence (essential)
Excellent communication, organisation and managerial skills
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a diverse team
Computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
Able to provide leadership and motivation to a team
Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment medical
