Operations Manager

Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time $140,000 – $150,000 per year + annual bonus + car Sandgroper Contracting based in Southwest WA are looking for an Operation Manager to join our growing team. First and foremost, we are looking for someone with integrity who can offer exceptional customer service to our clients and become a long-term member of the Sandgroper family.  The full-time position offers a generous remuneration package including a performance bonus plus vehicle, better yet you will be home every night. The role will primarily be based in our Busselton branch with time also spent in Bunbury. You will be responsible for managing and growing one arm of the business.  Experience in liquid waste management is desirable but not essential as this can be learnt on the run.  Role description: Manage day to day activities, scheduling/invoicing and providing direction whilst managing the incoming requests from various customers.  Ability to manage daily reactive request. Maintaining our relationship with the large clients yet still providing the same service for a first-time client. Client interface looking at new opportunities and being driven to expand the division. Business development and strategies included in the role. Weekly/monthly meetings with the management team. Working closely with the other divisional managers to accommodate workloads and daily reactive requests.  Ability to cover drivers during any unplanned leave. Not preferred option but this is something that will be required.  Flexibility to work weekends if required and work with clients that need support in emergencies.  The management team has an open book when looking for new opportunities within the business.
