The portfolio is multi mixed-use with exposure to a retail shopping centre, office tower and commercial parking station.
We're nearing full occupancy so we need someone who can continue to ensure these assets are looked after, well managed and maintained to our perfecting standards, working with our fantastic client.
The role will be dynamic and fast paced, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the above, with a strong focus on the implementation and adherence to established policies and procedures along with the management of contracts in place.
You will be focused on strategic planning, lifecycle of plant & equipment, project management, and concentrating on the sustainability & economic performance of all assets.
Key accountabilities include: Delivering onsite operations management procedures, processes, performance measures, coordinating all aspects of building management and essential services.Ensuring the provision of a safe working environment and confirming compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health and safety standards.Maintaining the property risk management program (including audits) across all assets.Actively working to ensure that the centre's operations budgets are meeting or exceeding targets.Confirming that vendor procurement processes comply with agreed client procurement guidelines as well as JLL best practices.Ensuring all staff and contractors are inducted and receive up to date site specific training.Completion of the client's capital works program requirements to meet the agreed KPIs.Implementation and completion of the client's Sustainability requirements.Ensuring all operations and maintenance functions conform to the Building Code of Australia and other relevant statutory accountability.Working collaboratively with the onsite Facilities Manager and broader PM team.Building and developing effective client/stakeholder/tenant relationships.Sound like you?
This is what we're looking for: To be the successful candidate, you will have shopping centre operations/facilities management experience with great budgeting and reporting skills.
You absolutely thrive working with a variety of tenants and enjoy working in a team environment as well as autonomously.
Positive and tenacious in your daily approach, client service is your key priority, and you can communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You respond promptly, can meet customers' needs and expectations, actively listen and show empathy for any concerns.
Having the ability to be proactive and able to identify potential risks through compliance with OH&S is essential.
You keep on top of things and can also oversee budgets, cut operational costs, and incur savings during the process.
