The Role Due to significant growth within our Healthcare division, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager based in Richlands, Queensland. Our Richlands facility services key customers in the medical devices and pharmaceuticals industry, with the size of the site sitting at 6K SQM2.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
Proactively and effectively manage the daily operations of the warehouse and associated distribution activities so that people and equipment are employed efficiently, and the warehousing and distribution activities are performed safely, accurately and in accordance with customer requirements.Direct the day-to-day warehousing and distribution of the DC to ensure service and financial targets are consistently met.Adhere to requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Licences, the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) accreditations and the Poisons Licence at all times.Consult with Senior Manager – National Quality Assurance to create relevant SOPs and ensure consequent training is provided.Read customer situations accurately, anticipate their business needs and identify opportunities to significantly enhance the breadth and quality of the service experience.Provide oversight alongside Senior Managers that initial and continuous improvement training programs are implemented and maintained in line with quality standards and expectations.About you To be successful in this role, you will need:
Thorough knowledge of TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) Quality Systems regulations, PIC/S Code of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GWP (Good Warehouse Practices), GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and appropriate ISO standards specifically ISO9001 & ISO13485.Thorough understanding of warehousing and management systems, with prior Healthcare or FMCG knowledge being preferable.Knowledge of warehousing and distribution best practice, including manpower and equipment needs to minimise labour costs.Warehouse Management Systems & ERP (SAP) experience.Qualification in warehousing or logistics would be highly regarded.What moves you?
