Then keep reading, as Stockwell is looking for an Operations Manager to lead their Stockwell Living team working across nine active apartment complexes which include over 1000 apartments and many more in the pipeline.You will lead the team and be responsible for:Creating thriving communities where our homeowners live.Asset Management.Financial – preparation and implementation of budgets, rental growth and collection.Leading and motivating a resilient and high-performance residential apartment management team and having fun.About Stockwell:Stockwell is a family owned, energetic and diverse property business spanning over 72 years. We pride ourselves on working hard, working smart and working to our fullest potential.Stockwell is experiencing an expansion phase with several new properties adding to our portfolio, which includes neighbourhood and sub-regional shopping centres, residential and commercial developments and our Solana Lifestyle Resorts.We have a solid and diversified pipeline across Queensland in the retail, commercial, retirement and residential properties including Build to Rent.Our focus is to create places where people live, work, shop and invest.Reporting to the Head of Residential, your key responsibilities will include:The safe and operational success of all Stockwell residential apartment complexes by leading the Stockwell Living Team and managing the daily marketing, lease administration, Body Corporate, Body Corporate Managers, owner occupiers, owners, and tenant relationships.Ensure all sites are safe and all are adhering to our Caretaking Agreement, Letting Agreement, Community Management Statement and relevant legislation for the business.Assist the team with working with Body Corporate Committees to ensure all sites and Common Areas are well maintained.Oversee that the team is working with unit owners in our management pool ensuring apartments are well maintained to maximise Rents.Profitability for the Living business.Ensuring the continued adherence and protection of the Stockwell Brand and story.Growing the number of units under management.Overseeing the on-site teams have a strong relationship with the Owners and Body Corporate Committee.Ensure the Stockwell Living team remains motivated by conducting ongoing employee development, training and attention to detail.What are we looking for?We are looking for someone with the following attributes:People Leadership skills.Demonstrated business knowledge and planning.Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to listen and think innovatively.Ability to negotiate.Problem solving with an ability to identify problems and bring issues to resolution proactively.Qualifications:In addition to having a strong client-oriented approach, the successful candidate requires:Direct knowledge of relevant Acts – BCCM Act, WHS Act, Fair Work Act, all relevant employment Acts and Incident Reporting.A minimum of 5 years in Residential Property or Hotel Management.Experience in Crisis Management.Next Steps:Please address your application to Jackie Johnson and apply directly through Seek, LinkedIn or via our current employment opportunities link below.www.stockwell.com.au/work-with-usThis position is available for an immediate start.Note: Recruitment Agency CV's will not be accepted.Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
