Your New Role
As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance, managing staff, and leading a small to mid-sized team. You will be expected to uphold a non-negotiable focus on safety and compliance, while also demonstrating strong planning and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all OHS regulations and company policies. Manage and lead small to mid-sized teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee the planning and execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Utilise appropriate software platforms to maintain a systematic and disciplined approach to operations. Quickly earn the respect of team members and peers through effective leadership and communication. What You'll Need To Succeed Proven experience in operations management and project management in a blue-collar environment. Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Excellent planning and time management skills. Proficiency in using relevant software platforms.
