As a proud Western Australian owned and operated company, we are dedicated to delivering excellence in the design, manufacturing, and installation of patios that transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional living areas.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of multiple teams, including the Engineering Department, Workshop, Installations, and Delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for team management and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage small teams across engineering, workshop, installations, and delivery, ensuring smooth coordination and high performance.Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operational teams.Ensure the timely and successful delivery of installed patios that meet customer expectations.Collaborate closely with the sales and project management teams to ensure that all projects meet customer specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize productivity and reduce delays or downtime.Monitor and improve the end-to-end operations, from design to installation, ensuring consistent performance across all departments.Identify and troubleshoot operational challenges quickly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to production and delivery timelines.Act as the first point of escalation for resolving any operational or logistical issues across the teams.Manage resources, including materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring the timely procurement and proper maintenance to meet project demands.Track and report on stock levels, material usage, and ensure that teams have the necessary supplies to complete installations on time.Uphold and enforce all workplace health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance and a safe working environment for all teams.Track team performance and efficiency through daily, weekly, and monthly reports, providing insights into productivity, attendance, and areas for improvement.Regularly review project progress and provide reports on performance metrics to senior management.What You Bring: Proven experience in an operations or management role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and inspire multiple teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.Strong organizational skills with a focus on process optimization and workflow improvements.Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to a workshop or construction environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Competency in using computers for reporting, workflow management, and inventory tracking.Why Join The Patio Factory?
