Oversee and manage our manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role is critical to ensuring that our manufacturing processes are efficient, safe, and deliver to a high level of quality to meet our customer's needs. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of our manufacturing and warehouse teams.
Critical Components of the Role: Problem Solving: Resolve day to day changing demands in manufacturing, scheduling and warehouse operations. Design and recommend solutions to recurring or systematic challenges and problems. Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimise manufacturing resource allocation. Productivity Management: Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to boost productivity and improve quality. Facilities Management: Manage the factory, warehouse and front counter facility. Manage maintenance, including equipment upkeep, repairs, and upgrades. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Staffing: Collaborate with HR to provide recommendations for hiring and staffing needs based on production demands and team and individual performance. Health and Safety: Ensure a safe workplace, conduct regular safety inspections, and risk assessments and implement corrective actions. Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with the sales team to align production schedules with sales forecasts and customer requirements. What We Are Looking For You will have a background in job-shop custom manufacturing with experience in scheduling and productivity management. A proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
