Approximately $130k + Super (subject to experience) Small team with excellent culture MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivering proactive & reactive operational outcomes, promoting a compliance first culture, continuous improvement to both systems & processes, and contributing to the overall development and growth of the business. Aid in creating and executing Operations strategy. Develop operational processes and work with the other departments to create procedures and policies from an operations perspective. Prepare and maintain management reports, data validation, data analysis, and data visualisation tasks using analytical tools. Investigate data quality issues and take appropriate action to notify suppliers and other business areas for correction. Supporting an exceptional customer experience through: Ensuring timely and seamless property transfers. Ensuring bills are accurate and issued in a timely manner. Ensuring that exceptions are remedied in a timely manner. Ensuring that both process & automations are robust and refined. Driving a compliance culture through: Encouraging clear & open communication around the detail and nature of a potential compliance breach. Operating in compliance with all policies & procedures. Managing Life Support Registration & De-Registration processes. Following appropriate processes for process change/improvement. Promoting the overall vision and direction of the business through: Supporting Strategic Initiatives. Highlighting opportunities for growth or improvement. Promoting a safe and supportive work culture. Sharing Insights from prior experiences. Effectively manage the team's performance to meet targets. Mentor and develop junior operations analysts to support the growth of the company. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications: Degree qualified or appropriate business related qualifications are preferred. Knowledge or experience with the National Electricity Market (NEM) is desirable. Experience: Customer operations or customer experience in the Energy Retailer industry. Demonstrable experience in performing data and business process analysis, preferably in the Energy Retailer industry. Skills: Strong analytical and conceptual capability, identifying trends, issues, or improvements across large amounts of data to add valuable foresight in a timely fashion. Ability to master a fast-paced environment. Proactive, motivated and flexible. Ability to work both autonomously and within a team. High attention to detail. Highly developed initiative and creativity. Willing to be accountable and take responsibility for outcomes. Highly proficient in standard MS Office suite software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. PERFORMANCE GOALS: Update and maintain operational processes and contributing to the growth and development of the business.
