Operations Manager

Alice Springs, Alice Springs & Central Australia NT Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Mereenie H2o is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our water and ice manufacturing and delivery business in Alice Springs, NT.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the production of 15 litre bottles of water and 5 Kg bags of Ice, be able to organize delivery drivers for the distribution of our products throughout Central Australia and be able to converse with clients in a friendly relaxed manner.What you'll be doingManage and coordinate the activities of the manufacturing process to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality service deliveryOrganize staff on a daily basis, general office duties including quoting, receiving of monies and conversing with customersOperation and maintenance of the machinery used in the production of bottled water and iceEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsKeep logged maintenance of machineryGood customer service and communication skills Occasional delivery of 15ltr water bottles and iceWhat we're looking forCurrent drivers license and MR licensePhysically fit, clean and neat appearanceBasic mechanical knowledgeGood problem-solving and decision-making skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a teamSome knowledge of Xero accounting system would be an advantage but not essentialWhat we offerCompetitive salary and attractive benefits package with the opportunity to progressSupportive and inclusive work environmentAbout usMereenie H2o and Al-Ice are family owned and operated businesses for over 20 years in Alice Springs and we pride ourselves on the reliability, efficiency and friendly delivery of our service.
