About the Role: This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing and developing teams, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving business growth.
The Operations Manager will work in partnership with our client's Eastern Portfolio Operations Manager and will play a crucial role in overseeing their portfolio of centres in the North-West (Shepparton, Sunbury, Melton, and Mill Park), ensuring they meet KPIs while keeping the needs and desires of the children in their care as paramount importance.
Key Responsibilities: Oversight of Multiple Centres: Manage and support a portfolio of childcare centres, ensuring they meet operational, financial, and educational standards.Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring centres operate within budget and meet financial targets.Lead and Inspire: Motivate and mentor Centre Directors and their teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.Human Resources Management: Oversee HR functions, including hiring, training, and managing team turnover.Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with families, local communities, and stakeholders, promoting the centres and their services.Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and the National Quality Framework (NQF), conducting regular audits and assessments.Professional Development: Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and changes in legislation, ensuring that all centres adapt accordingly.Ideal Candidate: Multi-Site Management Experience: Proven success in managing multiple locations with a strong track record of achieving results, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the Early Childhood Sector.Financial Acumen: Ability to read and interpret P&L reports, demonstrating sound financial decision-making.Proactive and Independent: A can-do attitude, willingness to challenge the status quo, and ability to work independently with urgency.Organised Leader: Exceptional organisational skills with a focus on developing and achieving results through people.Attractive Salary Package: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.Company Car, Phone, and Laptop: Essential tools to support the role.Career Progression: Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.CCS Gap Fee Discount: Enjoy a 95% discount.Incentive Plan: Performance-based rewards.How to Apply: To express your interest in this role, click QUICK APPLY or email your updated CV to [email protected] with a suitable time for a confidential discussion.
