Operations Manager - Disability Accommodation

Details of the offer

Operations Manager - Disability AccommodationLocation: Baulkham Hills
Salary: $116,000 per year + Super + salary packaging
Employment Type: Full-time
The Operations Manager is a practical, hands-on leadership role. Initially supporting one house with one full-time direct report, a second house in Baulkham Hills is due to be established in 2025. While you're 100% focused on leadership and management, your direct report has a hybrid role, providing a mix of management support and direct client services.
The service supports three people with complex needs. The service opening in 2025 is a Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) house. To be successful in this role, you'll have a deep understanding of the needs of people with complex disability, excellent relationship skills to support families, and the ability to build a strong, capable, and well-supported team that has the depth of skill and empathy needed to deliver exceptional services and supports.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to stay close to client service delivery while building your management and leadership capability. You'll use your experience to partner with our Continuous Improvement and Practice team to develop improved programs and supports, both within the service and across Sunnyfield. This is a great role for someone looking to grow across or balance their love of practice, people, and organisational leadership.
Ready for success? This is not a role for the faint-hearted. You'll need to bring strong experience and practical knowledge supporting people with complex needs in disability, mental health, aged care, or a similar environment.
You can find the space to hear and advocate for the needs and voice of the client, and the valuable families that support them, with the needs and wellbeing of your team.
You can bring people on the journey with you, setting clear expectations for your team while supporting them to have the knowledge and skills to deliver great services and supports.
You can have the hard conversations while bringing together clients, families, staff, and medical and allied health services with a common goal – to support three incredible people.
What can we offer you? Support from the Regional Business Manager and our Disability Services and Support Office teams.
While the role is service-based, there's flexibility on how and when you work to meet your life commitments.
A great Employee Assistance Program with a range of programs and services, Fitness Passport, and discounted healthcare because wellbeing for the people that care matters!
If you're excited about the possibilities, get that application through to us! There's no closing date, and we'll review applications as they come in.
Note: Successful candidates must be vaccinated against COVID and clear all state-based probity checks, including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
