About the Company & Role As a well-established and privately-owned civil contractor with clients across the infrastructure, mining and energy sector, our client is going through a period of sustained growth, and have engaged Infracon Australia to source a versatile, pragmatic and ambitious Operations Manager to be based out of their established Karratha office, to oversee the next exciting growth phase in the Pilbara on civil projects with new and existing public and private sector clients.
About You You will be a hands-on, pragmatic and grounded person, with strong relationship building skills and good commercial acumen.
With a small leadership group, we are seeking those willing to roll their sleeves up and work collaboratively towards a common goal, and take pleasure and pride in growing a company, and supporting the evolution in policies, procedures and systems as they continue to grow.
Other criteria to be considered are: Ideally Tertiary Qualified (Engineering, Construction Management etc.)
Minimum of 15 years industry experience, 5 years in project/package management Strong background in bulk earthwork projects, mine infrastructure Able to demonstrate successful execution of projects up to $20m value Experience in tendering/estimating highly advantageous The ideal applicant will have prior experience working on projects in the Australian mining sector with clients such as BHP, RTIO, FMG, Roy Hill etc.

Your salary will be starting from $250,000 + Super + Fully Maintained Vehicle, Fuel Card, Laptop, Mobile Phone with an appropriate house (including utilities) provided by the company for the duration of your employment.
