One way we bring this to life is by hiring and developing exceptional talent, to deliver on our wide variety of advisory, audit, and accounting services.About the RoleProvide EA support to one Partner, including calendar management, billings, client onboarding, expenses, weekly timesheets, CRM maintenance (opening/closing of engagement codes), proposal preparation, and travel arrangements.Attend recurring Melbourne Audit leadership meetings with updates on key operational matters relevant to be shared with the Partners Group, handling action items and sending calendar invitations when required.Support with strategic resource management and scheduling of the Audit staff, optimising client requirements, people development needs, and profitability.Proactively book training rooms and coordinate internal training programmes on behalf of the Audit National Learning & Development team.Attend National Audit Operations Committee meetings (when required) and ensure the Melbourne Audit team operates in line with agreed policies and procedures.With the support of P&C, coordinate team engagement, wellbeing, and performance appraisal related processes.Support the Admin/EA team to resolve workload or process-related issues.Work with Finance and P&C to support the Audit PIC through finance-related activities (e.g., annual budgets, charge-out rate reviews, capacity modelling).Oversight of Audit related regulatory lodgements as directed by the National Audit Operations Committee (including auditors resignation process & lodgement, annual ASIC levy submission, tracking CAANZ membership list).About YouProven experience within a similar role (ideally within Professional Services).Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships (internal and external).A high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.Previous experience with APS or similar practice management system.Demonstrated experience using document management systems and client relationship management systems.High attention to detail, identifying duplications, inconsistencies, and errors.Commits to cooperative teamwork, prioritising multiple tasks to achieve goals.Exhibits a highly professional approach to all tasks, acting with integrity and responsibility to build a positive profile within the firm.*Please note this is a 13-month maternity leave contract with the possibility to extend/possibility to be an ongoing role.Why BDO?Working for BDO you will be part of a growing and market-leading professional services firm.
