As a member of our operations & logistics team, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of our events. Provide pivotal support to our Front of House team by coordinating, transporting & setting up catering equipment. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager.
Overview of Role Duties & Requirements:Coordinate the loading & unloading of catering equipment/suppliesTransport catering items to & from event locations in a safe/timely mannerPrepare necessary equipment according to specific job sheetsEnsure all equipment & supplies are maintained, clean & in good working conditionMaintain our depot by keeping the area clean, inventory organised & stored properlyConduct regular stocktakes to monitor inventory levels, identify shortages & ensure accurate recordsFacilitate the safe & timely drop-off/direct delivery of Express Catering items to corporate clients across BrisbaneAustralian Open Drivers LicenceExperience in logistics, catering, events or a related field is preferredAbility to lift & carry heavy itemsStrong organisational skills & attention to detailFood hygiene training & accreditationExcellent communication, interpersonal & teamwork skillsExperience in conducting stocktakes & inventory managementAttention to detail & comfortable notifying direct reports of missed or suggested items required for events & deliveriesA proactive & problem-solving mindsetA sound knowledge of Brisbane CBD, surrounds & local venues would be advantageousA motivated team player that is comfortable taking on delegated responsibilityExceptional knowledge of current food & catering trendsHardworking, physically fit and reliableGreat personal presentationDoes this sound like you?Thrive in an organised, rewarding environment and grow with us!
