Operations Leading Hand Forklift Operator

Our Valued Client is currently seeking a dedicated Leading Hand for a temp to perm role commencing as soon as possible. This role would suit a candidate that is happy to work midnight and early mornings.
Main Responsibilities: Pre-determine the amount and types of trailers arriving prior to unload. Check sealed trailers to rule out tampering. Sort connotes for interstate freight. Supervise and delegate tasks of PM operations team. Ensure booking freight is compiled and sorted prior to its departure. Coordinate the unload and sorting of inbound trailers and local trucks. Generate SPA's for interstate trailers. Verify arrival times of relevant SPA for inbound trailers. Be the first point of contact for operational tasks requested. Ensure OH&S compliance of all staff and faculty. Coordinate with Operations Manager and AM Operations Supervisor. Education, Skills, and Experience: Previous experience in the Transport Industry. Knowledge of the Perth Metro Area. Preferred previous experience in a supervisory role. Valid Forklift Ticket.
