We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a
Leading Hand
to join our Customer Delivery team in Perth. The position will ensure the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department.
Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion of regular performance assessment reports.
Assist in the supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule.
Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver.
Supervise, train, and induct workers within a designated work area.
Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area.
Perform administrative and reporting duties as required.
Follow up on any discrepancies and ensure all flight deliveries are correct.
What do you need to be successful in securing this role?
Demonstrating leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
Hands-on experience and display leadership by example.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card.
Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside.
ADA Fork Lift license preferred yet not essential.
First Aid Certificate & WHS qualifications preferred.
Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7-day per week operation).
A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required.
