Our client, a Global Oil & Gas Offshore client, is looking for an Operations Engineer to join their Darwin team on a permanent basis.The successful candidate will report to the Technical and Maintenance Manager (TTM) and will actively contribute and provide technical and advisory support to the TTM and FPSO. This position is an onshore role, Monday to Friday, based in Darwin, Northern Territory.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Support the activities of the Technical and Maintenance Manager (TMM), particularly during extraordinary modifications and activities.Coordinate Operation/Asset objectives from the planning, scheduling, and progress reporting standpoint and serve as a focal point in the preparation, maintenance, progressing, and reporting of the Asset Integrated Schedules covering 14D, 90D, and 18M operational/maintenance plans.Support TMM and Offshore teams with daily responses and troubleshooting of critical issues.Mobilise offshore to support turnaround or specific asset project tasks as required.Support mobilization planning of vendors/contractors and associated equipment to the offshore facility.Promote continuous improvement of maintenance strategy in cooperation with senior ops engineer, TMM, and AM to achieve a safe and efficient operation.Assist TMM in the preparation of maintenance schedules for campaigns and projects such as planned maintenance shutdowns and ROV inspections, and communicate these schedules to all parties.Identify maintenance backlog (overdue work orders from CMMS/IFS). In consultation with TMM and offshore management, evaluate and finalize scope. Develop or manage the development of required work packs for planned maintenance tasks where needed. Monitor IFS dashboard daily, ensuring that SCPM and RA receive the attention they need.Support TTM in client-related meetings and reporting/preparations as required.Actively participate in JSAs, FSAs, and RCAs as required and manage required reports, maintaining historical documentation.Direct and coordinate all relevant local requisitions for spares, consumables, and services for repairs and maintenance activities.Qualifications & Skills:Relevant accreditations to the industry.FPSO/Offshore experience is highly desirable.Good understanding and knowledge of shutdown and offshore operations.Excellent computer skills; IFS 10, MS-Excel, and MS-Word, along with familiarity with computerized management systems.Industry-specific knowledge of systems, organization, procedures, and regulatory body requirements.Strong verbal and written communication skills.High attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.If interested in this role, please email your updated CV to ****** AU working rights are required (Aus Citizen or Permanent Resident).
