The CompanyAre you ready to lead transformation change, optimise efficiency and drive operational excellence?Based in the Sutherland Shire, you'll be joining a global building materials company with over 100 years of trusted legacy, known for superior products and solutions with year-on-year growth. They are seeking a proactive leader to partner with the leadership team, aligning strategy with actionable goals and driving efficient daily operations. This role oversees the full supply chain, ensuring cost-effective solutions and best practices.The PositionReporting to the Managing Director, you'll play a critical role in shaping the strategic vision, optimising performance, and creating an inclusive, high-performing team culture. Key responsibilities include:Oversee daily activities, set efficiency goals, evaluate performance data, participate in customer meetings, lead planning sessions, and manage facilities.Improve supply chain productivity, support materials forecasting, ensure accurate demand planning, and optimise inventory.Oversee inventory and stock movement, manage timely product introductions, and ensure inventory integrity.Negotiate cost-effective freight solutions, analyse transport options, and maintain supplier performance.Foster a highly inclusive culture, promote company values, lead and develop the Operations Team, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Lead site safety initiatives, enforce policies, and create a safe work environment.Participate in expansion activities, plan capital expenditure, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and performance.The CandidateA degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.Extensive experience in lean supply chain and manufacturing.Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and performance management.Proven capability to lead complex projects from start to finish.Strong leadership skills with a dynamic, hands-on approach.Someone who thrives in a collaborative, social team culture.Experience in building & construction, components or industrial highly desirable.An understanding of Enterprise Agreements.The BenefitsCirca $200K + Super + Bonus.Join an innovative, inclusive, and highly supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and excellence.An opportunity to leverage your operational expertise and drive meaningful impact.
