Operations / Customer Service - International Freight ForwardingA growing Australian owned International Freight Forwarder and Customs Brokerage is seeking a Customer Service / Operations Clerk to join their tight-knit team at the West Gosford Office, NSW. WFH options are available for suited applicants.
Only candidates with full working rights in Australia will be considered! Only candidates with prior experience in International Freight Forwarding will be considered. ABOUT THE ROLE: Coordinate with shippers, consignees, carriers, overseas network, cartage, and brokerage teams related to import/export shipments.Process documents efficiently and promptly, ensuring they are correct and entered into the operations system.Distribute pre-alerts and required documents to appropriate parties in a timely manner.Monitor availability of cargo for both air & sea (FCL & LCL).Prepare documentation for transport companies and ensure all customs and AQIS procedures have been carried out and met.Arrange cartage of inbound & outbound air & sea shipments (including cross trade shipments).Monitor cargo, including damaged/pilfered cargo and handling of any claims arising.Troubleshoot complexities.Provide exceptional services and ensure customer satisfaction.Manage tasks/workflow processes.ABOUT YOU: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with Tradewindow Software.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Supportive team environment.Hybrid work from home/office.Inclusive and tight-knit team.If you are ready for a new challenge, apply below or call Jana on to discuss.
