About the Role: The Operations Coordinator role will support the end-to-end operations of the organisation. This role will be exposed to many areas of our business where no two days will be the same, so if you love variety and have a can-do attitude, this is the role for you!
This role is a fixed term part-time position for 12 months, however we can offer flexibility and hours can be spread across either 4 or 5 days per week. This role could be suited to someone who is returning to work, looking to work around school hours or enjoys the flexibility of a part-time arrangement.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Operations Coordinator will provide support to conferences and events, projects, and other activities within the business. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General administration / office support. Supporting with the administration of AusIMM's annual Mentoring Program. Supporting with the administration of the annual AusIMM Awards. Monitoring and managing project risk when required. Venue search and securing locations for Stakeholder events as required including audio visual, food and beverages and delegate registrations. Multi-tasking to work across all teams internally to manage project deliverables. Support Membership team with annual membership administration and renewals. Assisting Courses team with daily administration as required. Updating and monitoring event management platforms (Events Air, CAMS and databases). Organising travel arrangements and itineraries for stakeholders as required. Develop a deep understanding of the AusIMM value proposition and promote it to all stakeholders. Managing office facilities, including but not limited to, arranging office maintenance, ordering kitchen and stationery supplies, preparing meeting rooms, and ordering catering for in-house staff events. Updating reports, basic Excel spreadsheets and basic PowerPoint and other necessary documentation. Other projects/work as required/allocated by the Project Manager, Operations. General office duties and other ad hoc tasks as required. Experience using basic office software such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exposure to event management platforms (EventsAir, CAMS) will be advantageous. Ideally, you will have relevant experience working in a multi-faceted role.
