Base salary starting from $118,835.45 + on-call allowance + super12.75% superannuationAccess to TOIL17.5% leave loadingGenuine emphasis on work/life balanceAccess to Sunwater's MyBenefits hosted by Reward GatewayThe role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the development and deployment of appropriate resource to deliver outstanding service, the financial management of operations, maintenance, long term planned correctives and management accountabilities associated with leading a large team. 
Other responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing the delivery of field-based services within the BLM region to achieve customer service expectations and business performance targetsEstablishing or maintaining partnerships with customers, communities, and industry stakeholders to create the opportunity to increase agricultural production across BLMIn collaboration with Customer Support, developing and implementing service, customer engagement and operations programs to drive improvements to the customer experienceManaging the BLM Operations team through work planning, performance management, and effective coordinationUnderstanding, identifying, assessing and managing risks in the region and developing and implementing mitigation strategies in accordance with the expectations of the business and our customers.Ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported and investigated where there is a high riskYou will bring: You will be experienced in the provision of managing infrastructure operations and maintenance services on bulk water and distribution infrastructure. You will have a demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and build an understanding and application of safety systems. Your ability to understand, identify, assess and manage risks associated with Sunwater's regional operations functions will ensure your success in this role. 
In addition, you will have:-
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or suitable experience relevant to the position.Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of scheduled, reactive and emergency maintenance services in accordance with a maintenance plan and approved annual budget.Extensive knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements and the ability to apply that knowledge to the delivery of water related services.Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching team membersDrivers licenceWe strongly encourage applications from candidates who are seeking flexibility in their work arrangements.
