Operations Coordinator - Bus and Vehicle Hire Northfleet is a market leader in bus and vehicle hire, providing first-rate solutions to customers across the Southwest, Perth, Pilbara, and regional Western Australia. We are seeking a dedicated Operations Coordinator to join our team in Newman. This role requires someone with initiative who can take charge of the hire and coordination of our wet and dry hire fleet, ensuring vehicles are ready on time and in excellent condition.
This is a residential role , and FIFO will NOT be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Hire Fleet Management : Lead the coordination of buses and vehicles for both wet and dry hire, ensuring timely availability and top-quality condition of all assets. Operational Oversight : Provide relief support in the absence of the Operations Manager to supervise the hire depot operations and aid in decision-making. Client Communication : Professionally communicate with our valued clients, providing updates on vehicle availability, potential delays, and forward planning. Forward Planning : Proactively manage the scheduling and readiness of vehicles with the hire team, ensuring seamless operations and mitigating any potential delays. Asset Coordination : Oversee the allocation and maintenance of vehicles to meet customer requirements efficiently, and report delays to the Operations Manager for escalation. Daily Operations : Assist with day-to-day hire operations, including administrative tasks, compliance monitoring, and staff inductions. Skills and Attributes
Proficiency in Operations : Must be a capable and proactive coordinator with strong operational skills, ready to use initiative when needed. Client-Focused : Professional communication skills with a focus on providing excellent service to our valued clients. Time Management : Strong ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively, ensuring all vehicles are prepared on time. Attention to Detail : Ensure vehicles are in excellent condition before hire, maintaining the highest company standards. Technical Skills : Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Valid C Class (Manual) Driver's License is an essential requirement. Why Join Us?
