The successful candidate will have overall accountability and responsibility for the management of the Operations Centre to ensure safe, efficient fleet scheduling, maintenance, and technical support to all divisions of the company.Responsibilities:Lead staff development and training to ensure a safe workplace for all staff engaged in the Operations Centre.Mentor and coach all staff engaged in the Operations Centre to contribute to their professional growth, career progression, and employee engagement.Ensure the Operations Centre delivers services to the business in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Ensure the accuracy of the data provided by operations regarding freight operations charging and provide exception investigations to ensure all work conducted is charged to the client correctly.Undertake and complete all roles within the OC to cover for staff absences, mainly across standard shift times.Lead and manage continuous improvement projects using lean management principles within the Operations Centre and its remit to the business.Develop, prepare, and provide regular and ad hoc reports to the senior management team as requested, supporting the business's reporting cycle.Assist in preparing visual dashboards as required to inform all parts of the business in operational safety performance.Why pick MGM?We are a thriving, privately owned business with room for professional growth and development.
