Our purpose is to transition the world to a clean energy future.As Australia's only end-to-end provider of all renewable energy technologies, with proven experience integrating solar, wind, battery energy storage and green hydrogen into new and existing systems, we deliver industry firsts that are leading the clean energy transition.As an Operations Specialist you will carry out proactive monitoring and provide remote guidance to site operators for diagnostics and troubleshooting, based on information available through monitoring systems.In addition to this you will be responsible for routine monitoring and analysis tasks to effectively and accurately manage critical power generation assets in line with the company's vision and values, in order to increase the availability, reliability and life of the plant.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Analyse, prioritise and manage events and alarms to avoid equipment functional failures of the companies operational assets.Manage, implement and improve operational performance of assets including the ongoing predictive maintenance programs and on-site data collection, analysis and OEM recommendations.Evaluate equipment health through the monitoring of real time machine parameters.Identify opportunities to improve plant/asset availability, reliability and performance and assist with root cause analysis to determine the cause of equipment failure and power outages.Diagnostic fault finding and troubleshooting solutions of remote power generators.Recommends corrective actions before issues impact production, availability and safety.Support and guide Power Station Operators in the optimum performance of power generation balancing client expectations, contractual obligations, performance, asset longevity and resource allocation.Utilise Pacific Energy resources to solve immediate, short and medium term power generation issues leveraging thermal, renewable and field service capabilities to coordinate positive client solutions.Provide asset data to analyst support function for further review and reporting.External stakeholder management as first responder to out of hour events.Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork.ABOUT YOU:Electrical or Mechanical trade with relevant power generation knowledge and experience preferable.Substantial knowledge and experience in Power Generation and renewable operations.Diagnostic fault finding and troubleshooting solution experience.Optimisation of power systems to ensure peak performance.Proficient in the latest data analytics tools and techniques, good working knowledge of a wide range of power generation technologies.Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately under time constraints and complex time critical situations.Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.A willingness to learn and apply new technologies and a strong understanding of operational requirements.ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE:Opportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave).Employee Discretionary Bonus Program.Salary continuance insurance.Rewards Gateway for our employees.Employee Referral Reward.WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERAt Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
