Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Base Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Alice Springs base.
In this role, you will be challenged to provide solutions for our customers in a high-paced environment. This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location : Alice Springs
Roster : Monday to Friday & Weekend on call work once every 5 weeks.
Responsible for : Anticipating and proactively acting to deal with future events, situations, and opportunities. Ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with company and regulatory policies and procedures. Coordinating disruptions with Operations personnel and formulating and actioning disruption plans. Monitoring flights for On-Time Performance, reporting any delay reasons. Briefing Flight Crew on all aspects of flights. Proactively understanding the operational needs of the business and taking the initiative to ensure those needs are met or exceeded. Updating our online flight management system as required, including planning aircraft and crew. Overseeing the day-to-day running of the base assets, Office, Cars, and Company House. To be successful, the following is required : General aviation or logistics experience preferred. Efficient and reliable, with excellent time management skills. Possessing a sense of initiative (can work without constant supervision) but also being a team player with a helpful, courteous attitude and outstanding attention to detail. Flexible and available to do shift work including early starts and late finishes. Willing to undergo a medical check and drug & alcohol testing. Prepared to undergo Federal Police security background checks to satisfy the requirement to be issued an Aviation Security Identity Card. Prepared to attend Dangerous Goods training.
