We are looking for a dynamic Shared Backroom Operations Associate Manager to join our team in Fortitude Valley Brisbane. This role involves overseeing stockroom operations, ensuring merchandise availability, and upholding WHS standards. The ideal candidate will excel in driving productivity and achieving company goals through effective inventory management.
Responsibilities: Provide exemplary customer service to both internal and external customersDrive daily associate processing productivity in line with company standardsEnsure daily compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulationsAdhere to all Company Policies and ProceduresMaintain open and closing standards of Back of House areas (BOH)Plan and coordinate store deliveries, ensuring efficient use of space and resourcesDirect merchandise flow from the stockroom to the sales floorOrganise stockroom departments and maintain inventory recordsProcess inventory paperwork, including transfers, receiving logs, and returnsExecute timely processing of donations and merchandiseMaintain cleanliness and organisation of the stockroomCollaborate with Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers to align operational tasks with business needsProvide coaching, recognition, and performance feedback to the back of house teamDeliver WHS training initiatives and ensure complianceAssist with recruitment and selection of back of house team membersRequirements: 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in specialty retailStrong leadership and organisational skillsEffective communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to motivate and influence othersPhysically fit and able to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and mobilising items up to 45kgIf you are passionate about leading dynamic teams and delivering world-class service, apply today!
