About the job: We are searching for a highly motivated Operations Assistant to join our team based in our Nuriootpa office.
This role will provide administration support to the General Manager of AV&M, as well as to the Managers and Supervisors as required. You will also act as a key contact for all Vineyard Managers, Supervisors and Operators, triaging any questions or queries they may have from day to day before they are escalated to the General Manager of AV&M.
This is an exciting position, perfect for someone who is tech savvy and keen to get involved in the details of viticulture management. The role will be responsible for:
Data analysis and support with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for clients and the Executive Team Coordination of document management and control for the vineyard operations Preparation of reports and presentations on performance of vineyard management plans Supporting implementation and training for the AV&M team on new operating systems, or system upgrades, such as finance systems, asset management or activity reporting Assist with the preparation of general inspection reports for compliance purposes Triage queries from all people in the business, including third-party labour hire, service providers and suppliers Identify opportunities for streamlining processes and systems for operational efficiency Managing the diary of the General Manager of AV&M About you: You have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
You are keen to learn more about Viticulture/Agriculture and operational management. You may have undertaken some studies and have technical knowledge, or you may be keen to learn more technical skills. This is an administration job with the scope to grow. The scope of the role is somewhat up to you; the right person will make it their own.
You are a self-starter and you think for yourself. You can pre-empt what is needed and you don't wait to be told; you just know something needs to be done and you have a go. You are a can-do person where no job is too big or too small.
Although no formal qualifications are required for this role, experience in the agriculture or viticulture industry is highly regarded and strong administration and computer skills are a must.
