Amazon Web Services Deal Approvals Team is looking for a talented Deal Approvals Manager to support AWS' dynamic and rapidly growing business.

AWS Global Deal Strategy & Programs (GDSP) organization is instrumental in driving deal strategy, structuring, negotiations, and execution of private deals.
The Deals Approvals team within AWS GDSP is responsible for executing approvals and maintaining policies, tools, and processes worldwide.
The Deal Approvals Manager will be primarily focused on supporting the Private Pricing program for AWS, preparing and managing approvals for public sector and/or worldwide commercial sales based on approved deal structures.
This position requires an individual who can autonomously operate within established frameworks with minimal guidance while managing multiple approval cycles at various points in the approval process.
This individual will have the highest standards and a bias for action to achieve deal velocity while exercising high judgment and autonomous decision-making in often ambiguous situations.
They must be able to take ownership of the approval process, driving internal and external teams, such as Legal, Operations, Finance, and Executive Approvers.
A successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
They must be willing to roll up their sleeves and build with us.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesConduct deal review with Sales teams, Finance, Operations, Accounting to influence and facilitate alignment and approvals.Be a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on Amazon Approval policies.Evaluate processes to drive improvements to velocity via projects and initiatives.Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, Finance, Legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial deals.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.5+ years of professional or military experience.Bachelor's degree.Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.Experience in preparing presentations for Senior Leadership.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience interpreting data and making business recommendations.Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.About the TeamAWS values diverse experiences.
