We are seeking a dedicated Operations and Service Specialist to join our Australian Sales team in Perth, reporting directly to the National Manager – Sales/Service/Operations. This role is pivotal to our operations and encompasses two key functions: Service and Operations. Service: Requires you to undertake refurb and repair works, onsite inspections at a customer premises, testing on transformers using our HV Lab. Operations: Directly unloading and loading containers, arranging, and loading trucks for dispatch to our customers, plus logistics requirements for the site as required. A comprehensive understanding of Health and Safety principles is essential for this role. The ideal candidate will have: • 5+ years' practical experience in relation to Industrial Service delivery • A high level of transformer industry experience, including testing and repair of transformers • Very good understanding of engineering design drawings • Ability to use problem-solving techniques i.e root cause analysis • Able to follow through on Corrective Action Request (CAR), and raise quotations to customers for service repairs • An intermediate level of computer literacy • Confidence to work under pressure to resolve operational day to day issues • Excellent communication skills • A proactive, positive approach and a passion for improving the way things are done • Knowledge and understanding of OH&S practices • Forklift experience and licence While not essential, the following skills are something that would also be ideal to have: • Trade qualification in Electrical / Mechanical trades or Manufacturing industry So, what's in it for you?
