The Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for the continuous safe and reliable operation of the Bulwer Island.
What you will enjoy doing Focus on the continuous safe and reliable operation of the Bulwer Island BulkASU (Air Separation Unit) which operates on campaign 24 hours/day, 7 days a week.Assist in major turnaround electrical/instrumentation work at any of our QLD tonnage sites based in Townsville, Columboola (LNG) or Yatala.Improve and sustain instrumentation reliability.Troubleshoot & repair flow meters, liquid level transmitters, and all types of control valves.Conduit & wire installation is part of your role.What makes you great Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as an Electrical Instrumentation Technician.Available for on-call and emergency works independently where required.Strong emphasis on safety and hazard recognition.Hold a QLD Electrical Licence, Cert III Instrumentation, current CPR / LVR, and EEHA.Demonstrated previous experience with Beamex; calibrations of pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, level transmitters, and valves.Experience with CMX software and performing electrical isolations, testing circuits, and equipment.Willing to work in a rotational shift between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and on-call duty.Why you will love working with us At Linde, we identify ourselves with our products – either working for the technical or medical gases business.
