About the position: As the Operations and Compliance Officer (Aerodrome), you will support the Operations Manager with the coordination and oversight of aerodrome operations in the Toowoomba Region to achieve results in line with Council goals and regulatory obligations.

The Aerodrome Operations Team ensures the maintenance, safe, secure, efficient operations of its four aviation facilities: Toowoomba City Aerodrome, Millmerran Aerodrome, Pittsworth Aerodrome and Crows Nest Emergency Helicopter Landing Site.
How to be successful in this position: Suitably Qualified: Hold the mandatory qualification(s), training and/or experience, as outlined under the 'Success Criteria' in the Position Description.Technical Skills: You have experience in aerodrome operations and a sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, design standards and principles.Leadership: You have demonstrated supervisory skills and the ability to plan, coordinate and oversee the completion of aerodrome maintenance and operations activities.Communication skills: You have demonstrated written, verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to provide accurate and timely advice in a helpful and supportive manner.Organisational skills: You're able to use your time management skills, judgement and initiative to set priorities and work independently to achieve the key objectives.Values: Commitment to Council's Organisational Value and Behaviour of Teamwork.How to apply: For full details of this position, please ensure you download the Position Description which provides the position success criteria.
