Supply Operations Analyst
to enhance the efficiency and performance of their supply chain operations.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimisation of key processes, drive operational improvements, and support critical supply chain decisions with robust data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse supply chain performance and operational data to inform decision-making
Develop and refine forecasting models for inventory management and logistics
Monitor supply chain trends and market conditions to optimise operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives
Support procurement strategies by conducting cost analysis and supplier performance evaluations
Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management on supply chain KPIs
Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance supply chain efficiency
Assist with budget and forecast preparation, ensuring alignment with business goals
Manage inventory control processes and ensure stock optimisation
Implement continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain framework
Support contract management and supplier negotiations for optimised supply terms
Coordinate with sales, finance, and production teams to maintain a balanced supply flow
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards
Utilise ERP systems to track and report on supply chain metrics
Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and risks
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in supply chain operations, logistics, or procurement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency
Experience in inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics optimisation
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with ERP systems is highly regarded
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of the chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is a plus
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements
Strong project management and organisational skills
