About the Role: Our Brisbane depot has an opening for a Operations Allocator known internally as a PUD (Pick-Up Driver) Allocator.
Multiple Rosters Available: Tuesday - Saturday, 5am starts Sunday - Thursday, 7am starts The Operations / PUD Allocator is integral to the successful day to day operations of the organisation.
The primary purpose of this position is liaising with the National Transport Office, Operations staff, Admin staff and oversee the running of the warehouse floor to ensure the efficient allocation of services and equipment to maximise efficiency while exceeding customer expectations.
Your main responsibilities will include: Co-ordination of freight and deliveries Managing of warehouse floor, forklift drivers and stock on site.
Lead staff hands on and by example Monitoring compliance with fatigue, mass and maintenance requirements Ensuring the safe conduct of operations in the workplace Planning and building loads in line with customer requirements Equipment and resource planning Enforcing businesses process and rules About you: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate: Previous experience in a similar role Qualified to administer a fatigue risk management system (preferred, but not essential) A strong customer focus The ability to multitask Sound knowledge of metropolitan and regional freight networks Flexibility in work hours to include weekends as required Lindsay Australia operates with a culture of honesty and openness.
