About the Role As an Operations Administrator, you'll play a key role in keeping our transport division running smoothly. Your duties will include:
Operations Support : Lead and manage all aspects of operations administration within our transport team. Data Entry : Input job details into the Freight Management System (FMS) and assist with bookings for depots. Client and Driver Coordination : Arrange site access for fleet and drivers, handle customer inquiries, and help with driver paperwork. Payroll Assistance : Learn and assist with weekly payroll processing for drivers. Onboarding : Take charge of driver onboarding, inductions, and site mobilizations. Travel & Uniforms : Organize travel, accommodation, and uniform orders for our team. General Depot Administration : Assist with various day-to-day admin duties to support the depot. What You'll Learn This role offers a range of growth opportunities, including:
Fleet Scheduling : Understanding fleet utilization and transport scheduling. Compliance : Learn about WA Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation, fatigue management, and national load restraint regulations. Heavy Haulage : Gain knowledge in permit requirements for over-dimensional loads in WA. Client Service : Build customer service skills and learn how to prepare quotes and tenders. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have:
Experience : Previous experience in transport or logistics administration. Ambition : A desire to upskill and advance within the company. Knowledge of WA's Northwest : Familiarity with mine sites is a plus. Strong Communication Skills : Must be adaptable and able to handle a fast-paced environment. Organizational Skills : Ability to prioritize, follow up, and maintain attention to detail. Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5:00 pm
