Tec-NQ is a growing organisation recruiting for an Administration Officer in our Records Room on a Fixed Term basis until August 2025 (38 hours per week) located in Townsville, QLD.
ABOUT THE ROLE The Administration Officer will provide administrative support for the processing of all documentation in relation to assessments, training letters and records management.
The role will interact with stakeholders including employers, students and parents.
You will have the responsibility for the administration of the organisation's Apprenticeship Programs and Administration processes for RTO and School.
A day in the life of an Administration Officer at Tec-NQ would look like:
Setting up, processing and recording apprentices results in required databases.Ensure the issuing of Statements of Attainment are completed in a timely manner.Co-ordinate the scheduling of apprentices into training sessions.Ensure correspondence confirming timeframes for apprentice training is forwarded to the apprentice and employer in a timely manner.Establish and maintain all appropriate registers, databases and other reporting mechanisms to satisfy legislative requirements applicable to the operations of Tec-NQ.SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrated capacity in the use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.Experience in working with records and database systems with a high level of attention to detail.Advanced communication, interpersonal and written skills.Demonstrated customer service skills.Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a team with the capacity to work with limited supervision.A Queensland 'Blue Card' working with children or the ability to obtain.Current C-Class Australian Drivers Licence.Previous administration experience working in a Vocational Education environment.Previous experience using AVETMISS Compliance Software (eg: VETRAKK).BENEFITS Tec-NQ offers a range of fantastic employee benefits which includes:
