04th October, 2024 The Operations Administration Assistant position is an integral role which provides administrative support to the operations team in ensuring that all TheirCare OSHC services are administratively compliant.
Permanent - .6 Fulltime Equivalent (with the option to extend in future) This entry-level role requires someone who can track and manage administrative tasks while following national education and care regulations.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in childcare or outside school hours care and are looking to expand on their existing administrative skills.
Reporting directly to the Operations Administration Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role will include: Manage, track and administer critical business documents.
Manage the collection, collation and storage of documentation in an electronic format.
Submit and manage applications/notifications to the Department of Education.
Submit and manage Child Protection notifications.
Ensure that the NQAITS database is accurately reflected for all individual services.
Liaise with councils in relation to food premise registrations, certification and inspections.
Ad-hoc duties as required.
Key skills: Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional manner.
Be able to balance workload and react quickly and efficiently to requests.
Be willing to ask why, and offer an alternative solution to a problem.
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
Ability to work as a team member as well as autonomously.
A personal drive to learn and succeed.
