Job DescriptionThe Role As the Operation Accountant you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Remote Energy Operations finance team. Partner with senior business leaders to ensure accurate and timely reporting and budgeting for all operations across the Remote Power business unit. Key Responsibilities: Management of the day to day running of the Remote Energy Operations Finance Department team.Collaborate with stakeholders in all remote locations.Complete financial controls for inventory and assets.Financial implications and modelling of operations within the Business Plan.Budget, forecast, analyse and report results for all operations.Support in the preparation of Divisional reports and board papers.Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.Ensure the business control environment is adhered to and operational, contractual and budgetary controls are in place.Management of the external and internal audit processes impacting Operations for the Business Unit.About You: Fully qualified CA/CPA Accountant or International equivalent (desirable).High attention to detail.Ability to prioritise workload including ad-hoc tasks as well as meet demands in a timely manner.Well-developed and effective communications skills with the proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.ADDITIONAL BENEFITS INCLUDE: Additional four days per annum of Personal Business Leave.Opportunity to apply for additional leave (Purchase Leave).Employee Bonus Program.Salary continuance insurance.Rewards Gateway for our employees.Employee Referral Reward.WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER At Pacific Energy, we celebrate the richness and depth that diversity brings.
