Advancing everyday life. United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is an Open Cut coal mine located 16 kilometres west of Singleton in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales.
UWJV is a 50:50 joint venture between United Collieries (Glencore and MEU) and Wambo Coal (Peabody).
We commenced operations and we are forecast to produce up to 10 million tonnes per annum of saleable thermal and semi-soft metallurgical coal.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, and as an integral member of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you will safely and effectively maintain operational technology (OT) systems to a standard and quality required to meet target outputs.
This position will operate on a Monday to Friday roster for the first 6 months while the successful candidate is provided with training in the OT field before transitioning.
