PRIMARY OBJECTIVE Provide cyber security and systems management services, including design, implementation, deployment, operation, maintenance, and overall management of systems. Provide input into cybersecurity strategy and policy, and develop plans, procedures, assessments, guidance, work instructions, records, and reports within the Power and Water Corporation (PWC) operational technology environments.
The Operational Technology division is a multi-skilled team covering SCADA, automated industrial control systems, and telecommunications to support essential service delivery across the Northern Territory. This includes working after-hours and in remote areas as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The "WHAT" to be delivered:
Ensuring that security requirements are adequately addressed in all aspects of architecture, including reference models (such as IEC 62443 reference models), segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems that protect and support PWC's mission and business processes. Consulting with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and translate functional requirements and integrating security policies into technical solutions which align with Power and Water Corporation's policies as well as industry best practices. Secure design, implementation, integration, testing, evaluation, deployment, maintenance, and operation of hardware and software. Planning and executing system tests; evaluating test results against specifications and requirements; and reporting test results and findings. Assessing systems and networks to identify deviations from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Conducting evaluations of technology programs or their individual components to determine compliance with published standards and producing relevant reports and documents. Monitoring and protecting PWC's operational technology environments against current and emerging cyber threats. Analysing data collected from various cybersecurity defence tools to mitigate risks. Investigating, analysing, and responding to network cybersecurity incidents. Collecting, processing, analysing and disseminating threat assessments. SELECTION CRITERIA Qualification and Skills Experience Essential: 3- or 4-year Science (includes Information Technology) or Engineering degree recognized in Australia. Demonstrated experience in implementing cybersecurity principles and practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent skills in collaborating with others and managing client relationships. Skills in performing risk assessments. Skills in developing cyber security system controls. Desirable Skills: Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity laws and regulations. Implementing business continuity and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
