The successful candidate will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Transport & Infrastructure operational line of businesses, ensuring the smooth execution of transactional and contract management processes. We are open to full time or part time employment depending on the preference of each individual.What you'll bringCertificate in Business Administration, Customer Service, or similar, desirable but not essential.A minimum of 5 years' experience in an administration role.Prior experience within a large, complex organisation with a broad range of business operations, products and services.Proficient in core administrative competencies including touch-typing, spreadsheeting, document writing/formatting (intermediate use of Microsoft Office 365 applications).High level of accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Thoroughness in completing tasks and following up as required.Excellent analytical and numerical skillsThe day to dayEnsure accounts payable invoices are managed and cleared on a regular basis.Ensure all billing is completed in a timely manner and in adherence with specific contract terms.Contribute ideas and learnings to the continuous improvement program that builds operational excellence.Implement and ensure compliance of all existing & new policies, procedures and regulations.Support the Operational Project Managers with cost management and reporting.Assist new suppliers and subcontractors with access to systems.General duties to support the efficient running of the office/depot.Why DownerDowner is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
