City of Parramatta have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity working in the Parks & Open Space team.
About the role As the Operational Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing administration assistance to support the activities and operations of the Parks team to provide efficient customer-focused services to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Undertake procurement activities including entering requisitions and processing invoices.Manage the unit's activities in relation to CRM systems monitoring and assigning incoming requests and documents, updating, transferring, and closing records, compiling reports to track performance and communicate across the management and supervisor team.Prepare documents, word processing, such as outgoing correspondence, meeting minutes, and memos.Perform administration duties required to support the manager as well as the day-to-day operation of the unit.About You We are looking for someone with:
Certificate II in Business/Administration or equivalent and/or experience in a comparable role.Previous experience in a similar role in an operational work environment.Previous experience in a customer-focused, service-driven organisation.Proficiency in a range of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to plan and schedule work under pressure, giving appropriate priorities to meet deadlines.Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to identify and address challenges efficiently.Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the day-to-day operation of the unit.What's on offer We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $75,922 to $83,609 plus 11.5% superannuation.
