As an Administration Officer – Operational Support Clerk with RSQ you are a critical member of the frontline clinical and operational services.
The role is required to work closely with the clinical staff to provide administrative support for the delivery of telehealth models of care to rural and remote Queensland, and aeromedical retrievals across Queensland.The successful candidate will prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, book conference rooms, facilities, and equipment; set up meetings including telehealth, minute meetings and assist with the production of online resources.Reporting/work relationshipsThe role reports operationally and professionally to the Director of Operations.
There are no direct reports to this role.RSQ is a 24/7 clinical service, and this role will be required to work across 7 days and 24 hours in a fair and equitable roster.Mandatory qualifications, registrations and other requirementsIt is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No.
01/16 (PDF)):measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)varicella (chicken pox)pertussis (whooping cough)hepatitis BRole fitThe essential requirements for this role are:Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in, health information systems and Microsoft - Word, Excel, Teams and associated applications.Ability to consistently deliver a high level of data accuracy, customer service, demonstrating rapport building skills, listening skills and empathy.Sound communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, patients and external stakeholders.Experience working with innovative technologies in the health care setting, particularly in relation to videoconference enabled clinical services.Ability to work with individuals, groups and as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team contributing to a cohesive team environment by sharing information, support and assisting colleagues in a proactive manner.Strong self-management skills and flexibility to adapt to unexpected changes.High-level organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to work autonomously in a self-directed manner while contributing to patient flow and the aeromedical environment.The highly desirable requirements for this role are:Administrative experience in government health system or equivalent large organisation.Administrative experience supporting clinical frontline services.How to applyPlease provide the following information to the panel to assess your suitability:A short-written response (maximum 1-2 pages, dot points acceptable) on how your experience, abilities, knowledge and personal qualities would enable you to achieve the key responsibilities and meet the skill requirements of the role.Your current CV or resume, including two referees who have a thorough knowledge of your capabilities, work performance and conduct within the previous two years.
