Key Responsibilities include:
Lead the development and assessment of options for the delivery model of the Central Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit (CPMU) future state which balances commercial drivers, regulatory compliance, desired service outcomes and operational requirements.
Secure funding source for CPMU future state in line with Queensland Government funding and project management requirements and methodologies.
Investigate and analyse pharmaceutical manufacturing trends across Australia to inform options assessment for a future state CPMU delivery model.
Consult and collaborate within the Department of Health and across government, and with other stakeholders as required, to ensure appropriate awareness and support in the development of strategies and solutions.
Provide leadership of a small project team to develop required documentation and apply appropriate project management methodologies, to ensure high quality project outcomes are delivered.
Provide guidance, analysis and advice to senior management on complex, sensitive and time critical funding submission and project related activities.
Engage proactively and support staff achieve incremental change as it progresses to the target future state aligned to the selected delivery model.
Ensure the effective transition of all future state project activity from the initiation to planning and subsequent delivery phase.
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Service and Department of Health values.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements:
There are no mandatory qualifications required for appointment to this position, but possession of professional or tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas such as financial, business or project management will be favourably regarded.
Ability to work across South East Queensland sites.
