We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Operational Specialist - HVDC to join our Operations and Maintenance team at Murraylink Red-Cliffs on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work with other HVDC specialists in the safe and reliable operation of the Murraylink asset.
Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair electrical systems to ensure safety and reliability.Diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to these systems.Comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure safe and efficient operations.Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve the performance of electrical systems.Provide technical support and training to other staff as needed.Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to advise on potential improvements.Your background Strong technical skills with a good understanding of electrical systems and infrastructure.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to electrical systems.About the Team The Operations & Maintenance team exists to safely operate APA Power, Transmission, Midstream, and Network assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.
