Operational Services Officers – Porterage, Cleaning, Food Services, Linen Services, Waste Services, Resource Pool support clinical staff to deliver the best possible care to patients.
From providing nutritious meals, to transporting patients throughout the hospital, to keeping our hospital clean, providing clean linen and collection of all waste across the campus.
Operational Services Officers are integral to running an effective and safe hospital.
About the role:Provide non-clinical support to the Rockhampton Hospital Campus in the areas of porterage, cleaning, food services, linen and waste management.
About you:
Demonstrate your ability to work with minimum supervision and able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to manage required timeframes to ensure that there is no disruption to patient flow within the Rockhampton Hospital.
Ability to work in a team environment in a large organisation.
Ability to abide by relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.
What we offer:Salary information:
An hourly rate between $38.42 - $41.43 p.h.
(including 23% casual loading) 12.75% employer superannuation contribution Other benefits include:
