Operational Services Officer (Radiology)To support the delivery of quality Operational Services within the Medical Imaging department of the Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) that achieves patient focused, clean and safe work practices.
An opportunity has become available for several Operational Services Officers (Radiology) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Assist health care professionals in the provision of patient care work associated with the delivery of clinical support servicesPorter and trolley patients and provide an informal communication service; operate lifts and provide direction/location assistance to staff, patients and visitorsSelect, pack, issue, receive, locate and deliver rations, stores, equipment and including the verification and acquaintance of documentation theretoAssist with transfer and replacement of clinical and related waste and sharps containers to appropriate collection pointsAbout you To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regardedEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Flexible work optionsSalary PackagingModern FacilitiesDiverse Work Culture12.75% super17.5% leave loadingPermanent full time (3 positions)Base salary ranging from $60 144 - $64 167 per annumAbout Us The Medical Imaging service delivers a wide range of diagnostic imaging and interventional services across the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service. The Service provides a Level 6 Medical Imaging service at Gold Coast University Hospital.
